Hoggard Films is currently in production on a 13-part television series for the Discovery Channel tentatively entitled URBAN EXPLORERS. (Final title to be determined.)

Slated for primetime telecast beginning in the first Quarter of 2005, URBAN EXPLORERS delves into the architecture, engineering, urban planning, archeology and modern anthropology of America's greatest cities.

In each episode, a wise-cracking team of experts sets out to discover the hidden frontiers that dwell beneath, above and within our most crowded places. Abandoned theatres, churches, factories, bridges, tunnels...

These invisible ruins have a story to tell.

We would like to score the series with music by little known or unsigned bands. As music fans ourselves, we like the idea of giving exposure to bands that are creating music in these major cities across America -cities that we will be exploring on the show...

We are looking for bands that are unsigned in the US (or at least not signed to major labels) and who would like to have one of their songs aired on a TV show in the US. Because it is the first season, our budget is fairly small. We would only be able to pay a small amount for the song and would need to obtain the rights to air it on national television (all media, world-wide, in perpetuity). The huge positive is that the music will be heard by millions of people when the shows air in a primetime slot early next year.

There are no boundaries on musical genre. We are looking for rock, dance, electronica, hip hop, jazz, big band, bluegrass, etc.
