Hoggard Films is an award-winning production shop founded by Steven Hoggard and Daphna Rubin, two television and documentary professionals dedicated to blending compelling narrative with dynamic visuals to entertain, educate, inspire and challenge assumption.

At Hoggard Films, we believe strongly in the power of narrative and in film's unmatched capacity to connect with and motivate an audience. We also believe that great stories are captivating no matter the genre.

Projects have ranged from traditional documentary to kinetic, non-fiction entertainment. Since opening shop in 1995, we have created and produced more than 80 hours of prime time fare, including numerous one-ups and seven major non-fiction series.

Our body of work reflects a proven ability to impart complex and visceral topics in a compelling manner. Subjects have ranged from history, archaeology, geology, crime, justice and mythology to current events, outdoor adventure, military, aviation technology and health care.

Clients and partner networks have included: National Geographic Channel-US, National Geographic Channels International, Discovery Channel, Discovery Health, Discovery Science, Discovery Military, TLC, the American Cancer Society and PBS.

Past productions have earned numerous awards and nominations, including a National Emmy Award and National Emmy Nomination, five Cine Golden Eagles, a Telly Award, a Global Health Award, and recognition at various North American and European Film Festivals.
